Privacy notice

This covers everyone who visits qanot.vc, pitches us, or applies to the residency. It is written to be read, not survived. If anything is unclear, write to privacy@qanot.vc and a person will answer.
What we collect

Video recordings
Recording never starts on its own. You see an explicit consent step first, and you may decline and still be considered — we schedule a live call instead. Recordings are stored encrypted, visible only to the partners scoring your application, never used to train any model, and never shared outside the firm without your written permission.
How long we keep it
- Not funded: deleted 12 months after the decision, unless you ask us to keep it on file.
- Video recordings: deleted 6 months after the decision, in every case.
- Funded: retained for the life of the investment plus the period fund records require.
- Analytics: 14 months, aggregated.
Who else sees it
Our hosting, email and storage providers, acting on our instructions under contract; our auditors and counsel where the law requires. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertisers. Some providers sit outside Uzbekistan; where data leaves the country we rely on standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
Ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to a particular use. Email privacy@qanot.vc. We answer within 30 days and do not charge. If you are in the UK or EU you may also complain to your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Analytics are measured without a persistent identifier, which is why you are not reading a consent banner. The application page stores your draft in your own browser's local storage; clearing the form deletes it.
Changes
If we change this materially we update the date above and, where we hold your address, tell you directly.
Before launch: have counsel confirm this against Uzbek personal data law, UK/EU GDPR if you market to those investors, and whatever the Gulf entity requires. The retention periods are defaults — set them to what you will actually honour, then delete this note.
